-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
motorists to expect traffic delays this week as a seal-coating
project gets underway on Trunk Highway 89 from north of the junction
with Trunk Highway 2 to the south Red Lake Reservation boundary.
According
to Earl Hill, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, the work on Highway 89
will begin on Tuesday and is expected to be complete by next Tuesday,
August 24th, contingent upon the weather.
Hill cautions
drivers to expect 10-15 minute delays, with alternating use of
one traffic lane.
