Bemidji, MN.
-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
motorists to expect traffic delays this week and next week as
a seal-coating project gets underway on Trunk Highway 75 between
Donaldson and Hallock and on U.S. Trunk Highway 2 east of Fosston
and west of Marcoux.
According
to Earl Hill, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, the work on Highway 75
begins on Wednesday, July 21st and will last through Friday, July
23rd. Hill said drivers could expect 10-15 minute delays, as only
one lane will be available for traffic.
The seal coating
process on U.S. Trunk Highway 2 will occur on the east bound lanes
from Fosston to three miles east, and in the west bound lanes
from Marcoux to five miles west and is tentatively scheduled for
Thursday through Saturday of this week, and continuing on Monday,
July26th.
Hill said
the schedule is contingent upon the weather.
Mn/DOT urges
all drivers to slow down when approaching any construction zone
and drive through the zone with extreme caution.
