Bemidji, MN. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is notifying the public that a public information meeting will be held to discuss an improvement to Bridge #04002 over the Tamarac River on Trunk Highway 72 near Waskish in northeastern Beltrami county.

According to Duane Hill, Mn/DOT's Northwest District Bridge Engineer, the superstructure of the bridge is scheduled for replacement in 2005.

The public information meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2004, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Waskish Town Hall.

Hill encourages all interested citizens to attend this meeting to discuss project plans, construction staging, traffic concerns, environmental issues and other areas of interest related to the project.
