Bemidji, MN.
-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is alerting
the public to the start of construction on a portion of Trunk
Highway 371, from south of the junction with Highway 200 to Hackensack
in Cass County.
According
to Larry Randall, Mn/DOT Senior Engineering Specialist, "The
work will start on Monday, July 19th and consists of resurfacing,
mill and overlay, bypass/turn lanes, guardrail, and culvert repair."
Paving operations
are scheduled to begin the week of July 26th, and will utilize
flag persons and a pilot car.
Randall added,
"We're working in a high traffic area and motorists are advised
to be prepared for delays and follow all traffic and signing instructions
when entering the construction zone."
Randall estimates
the work to be complete by late August.
