Bemidji, MN.
-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
the public to slow down and expect some minor traffic delays on
Trunk Highway 197, also known as Bemidji Avenue, from 3rd Street
to 23rd Street as paving gets underway on Monday, July 12th.
The paving
project is a thin bituminous overlay, which will serve as a maintenance
measure until this portion of the highway is reconstructed, tentatively
scheduled for 2008.
Flaggers will
be on site and drivers are cautioned to slow down and be alert
to turning traffic. The project is expected to be complete by
July 24th.
