- A measure to help reduce future flooding along Trunk Highway
11 west of Baudette will be underway beginning Monday, July 12th.
According
to Lou Tasa, Mn/DOT Northwest District State Aid Engineer, culverts
will be installed through Highway 11 at CSAH 3, which is one and
a half-mile west of Baudette and Lake of the Woods County Road
164, which is a half-mile west of Baudette.
Tasa said,
"Motorists can expect lane shifts and are advised to slow
down and watch for workers and equipment close to traffic."
Mn/DOT reminds drivers that speeding through a work zone will
cost double under Minnesota law.
The work is
expected to be complete by August 1.
