Bemidji, MN. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) will be holding a public information meeting to discuss plans and schedules for the reconditioning of Trunk Highway 6 from Talmoon to the north junction of Trunk Highway 1, scheduled to start this week.

According to Larry Randall, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, the meeting will be held at the Bigfork Town Hall on Tuesday, June 1st from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Randall said anyone who has an interest or is being impacted by the project is invited to attend anytime during these hours to talk with the contractor, Hawkinson Construction.

The project will require a detour to be in place for most of the project duration, which is scheduled to be complete by early October.
