Bemidji, MN. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
is advising motorists who may be traveling in the Roseau area
to be extremely cautious for areas where water has gone over several
areas of roadways due to recent heavy rain.
Curt Larson,
Mn/DOT Maintenance Supervisor in the Roseau area cautions drivers
who may need to use Trunk Highway 310 north of Roseau to slow
down and proceed with caution. Larson said Highway 310 remains
open but was signed this afternoon.
Larson added,
"conditions have improved on Trunk Highway 11 east of Warroad
and if the water continues to recede in those locations, the signs
will be removed by Friday."
