Motorists Cautioned About Water Over the Road on Trunk Highway 310 North of Roseau

Bemidji, MN. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising motorists who may be traveling in the Roseau area to be extremely cautious for areas where water has gone over several areas of roadways due to recent heavy rain.

Curt Larson, Mn/DOT Maintenance Supervisor in the Roseau area cautions drivers who may need to use Trunk Highway 310 north of Roseau to slow down and proceed with caution. Larson said Highway 310 remains open but was signed this afternoon.

Larson added, "conditions have improved on Trunk Highway 11 east of Warroad and if the water continues to recede in those locations, the signs will be removed by Friday."

Anyone traveling in this area is advised to call 511 or log onto www.511mn.org. for related road and weather information.
