Bemidji, MN.
-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is alerting
the public to a bridge replacement project scheduled to start
on Monday, May 10th south of Fertile in Polk County.
According
to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT Project Engineer, the bridge replacement
project on Trunk Highway 32 over the Sand Hill River requires
a detour to be put in place.
The official
detour route from the north end of the project is east unto Polk
County Highway 1, south on Polk County 10 and Norman County 36,
then west on Norman County 7 to Highway 32. Traffic from the south
would follow the same route in reverse.
Groven estimates
the project to be complete in mid-July.
