DETROIT LAKES, Minn., The Minnesota Department of Transportation
(Mn/DOT) will close Highway 200 from Highway 32 to Highway 59
beginning Tuesday, May 4, 2004. This will allow crews to complete
paving operations, grading, and miscellaneous work that began
last year. Weather permitting, it should be complete by early
June.
Mn/DOT recommends the following posted detour: Highway 113 between
Syre and Waubun.
Mn/DOT urges motorists to drive with caution, reminding them to
SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has
been blocked with barriers or cones. Always drive the posted speed
limits as FINES DOUBLE in the work zone. Please join us in a safety
