Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is alerting the public to a two-day detour off U.S. Highway 75 near St. Vincent while the Burlington Northern Railroad crossing undergoes repair.

According to Mike Kamnikar, Principal Engineer with Mn/DOT's Northwest District Office, Burlington Northern will be putting in new rails and a concrete surface at the crossing, which is just south of the junction with Highway 171.

Kamnikar said the detour would be in effect all day Wednesday and Thursday, October 15th and 16th.

The detour will be posted with traffic routed unto township and county roads.
