Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) would like to inform the public of two seal coating projects being conducted on State Highways this week. The exact locations are on State Highway 1 east of Northome and on State Highway 46 north of Deer River.

The work on Highway 1 from Northome to the junction with Trunk Highway 6 started today and will be completed by Thursday. Work on Highway 46 from Deer River north to Itasca County Road 39 will be conducted on Friday, weather permitting. Work will be conducted in approximately three (3) mile intervals with alternating use of traffic lanes. Motorists can expect 10 - 15 minute delays for the duration of the project.

Mn/DOT is asking drivers to slow down, be patient and be alert for traffic changes.
