Bemidji, MN.
--- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is notifying
the public that construction work on Highway 200 from 9th Street
in Ada to the south junction with Highway 32 is scheduled to begin
on Monday, July 21st.
According
to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT Project Engineer, the work will consist
of milling, bituminous overlay, culvert replacement and turn lane
construction. Groven said, "the work will start at the east
end of Ada with a detour north on Trunk Highway 9, east on County
Rd.163, then south on County Rd. 24. Groven added, "as work
progresses on the project, a second phase of the detour will be
put in place directing traffic from County Rd. 163, north on County
Rd. 24, east on County Rd. 23, then south on Trunk Highway 32."
Groven expects
the work to be completed by mid-September.
