Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is announcing the start of a bituminous overlay project on Trunk Highway 89 from Trunk Highway 219 to the Marshall/Roseau county line beginning Saturday, June 28th.

According to J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT's Resident Engineer in the Thief River Falls Construction office, the project will be constructed under traffic using flagging operations with a pilot car. Motorists are cautioned to slow down and be patient when entering the work zone.

Anderson anticipates the work will be completed in late July.
