Bemidji, MN.
--- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
the public that work to replace a bridge on Trunk Highway 32 north
of Red Lake Falls is scheduled to get underway on Tuesday, May
13th, and will require a detour for the duration of the project.
According
to Shawn Groven, Mn/DOT Project Engineer, the detour route from
the north will direct traffic unto Red Lake County Highway 19
west to County Highway 13 and back unto Trunk Highway 32 in Red
Lake Falls.
The prime
contractor for the project is Swingen Construction of Grand Forks.
Work is expected to be complete by late September.
As construction
season starts in Minnesota, Mn/DOT reminds all drivers to slow
down and obey all traffic signing instructions when approaching
a construction zone.
