Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) would like to remind truck drivers that the detour route for the Highway 11 bridge project between Karlstad and Greenbush in northwestern Minnesota is still posted at 9 tons and that adjacent township roads are 5 tons.

Drivers are also reminded that unless otherwise posted, all county, city and township roads are automatically reduced to five (5) ton axle limits during the period that spring load restrictions are in effect on state trunk highways.

Road restriction maps indicating the locations of weight restricted routes and those state highways open to maximum ten-ton axle weights are listed at Mn/DOT's Office of Materials and Road Research website: http://www.mrr.dot.state.mn.us.
