Bemidji, MN. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
is advising the public that work to replace a bridge on Trunk
Highway 11 at Pelan between Karlstad and Greenbush is expected
to start as early as Monday, March 31st or Tuesday, April 1st.
According
to J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT's Resident Engineer in the Thief River
Falls Construction office, the project is scheduled to be complete
in late June. Anderson said, "a detour is required for the
project and motorists are advised that the detour will be put
in place at the start of the project."
The detour
route is west of Greenbush on Roseau County Highway 4 to Kittson
County Highway 10, which ties into Trunk Highway 59 at Lake Bronson.
As construction
season starts in Minnesota, Mn/DOT reminds all drivers to slow
down and obey all traffic signing instructions when approaching
a construction zone.
