Bemidji, Mn.
-- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
motorists that traffic will be delayed on Truck Highway 197, also
known as Paul Bunyan Drive in Bemidji, on Wednesday, March 26th.
Duane Hill,
Mn/DOT Bridge Engineer, in charge of the bridge construction project
over the Mississippi River in Bemidji, said materials are being
delivered and unloaded at the site requiring trucks to be parked
in the traffic lane. As a result, traffic will be delayed for
periodic intervals between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Hill added,
"we encourage drivers to slow down, be patient and allow
themselves extra time to get through the area."
