Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) would like to notify the public that it will be replacing a portal beam on the Olso bridge over the Red River on Trunk Highway 1 on Wednesday, November 6th. The beam is being replaced due to damage caused by a high load.

According to Duane Hill, MnDOT's Northwest District Bridge Engineer, "motorists are being advised that delays could take up to 15 minutes and traffic would be cleared at 15 minute intervals". Hill added, "traffic flaggers will be on site and the public is urged to be patient in the work zone."
