Bemidji, Mn. -- Construction work to improve T.H. 172 is expected to begin on Monday, July 22nd, according to James Bittmann, Project Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The work requires the inplace pavement to be reclaimed and overlayed. Turn lane construction and culvert work will occur at various locations between T.H. 11 and Wheeler's Point.

Bittmann said the project is expected to be completed by mid September.
