Bemidji, Minn— A temporary left turn lane from T.H. 197 or Paul Bunyan Drive unto 1st Street in Bemidji should help ease some of the congestion for traffic heading southeast through the construction zone.

Today, Mn/DOT created a temporary left turn lane for traffic needing to turn unto 1st Street from T.H. 197 or Paul Bunyan Drive. This is the intersection near Keith's Pizza in Nymore. The left turn lane put in place today is expected to be there for approximately 3 weeks when traffic will be shifted again. Travelers heading southeasterly through the construction zone should remain in the right lane.

Traffic signals are working at this intersection and drivers are cautioned to pay close attention and remain alert through the construction zone.
