Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation
(Mn/DOT) is announcing that construction work on the Clearwater
River Bridge on T.H. 2, one-half mile east of Bagley will begin
on Monday, May 20th.
According to Larry Randall, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, "the
work will be conducted in the east bound lanes of trunk highway
2 and will consist of milling and a new concrete overlay on the
bridge."
Randall said the work would require lane closures with one lane
at a time being worked on. Lane width will be restricted to a
maximum of 12 feet and speed advisories will be posted.
Mn/DOT advises motorists to use extreme caution in this area.
The work is expected to be complete by June 10, 2002.
