Bemidji, Minn— Construction work to improve the bridge over the Red River on T. H. 1 west of Oslo in Marshall county is expected to begin on Monday, June 10th, instead of the previously announced starting date of May 20th, according to Shawn Groven, Project Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Groven said, "with a later start date than anticipated, we had to allow the contractor several more working days but the project is still expected to be completed by the end of July."

The work requires that the bridge over the Red River be closed and a detour put in place on June 10th, with westbound traffic being routed north on T.H. 220, west on T.H. 317, then south on Interstate 29.
