Bemidji,
Minn— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
the public that it is suspending it's work connected with the reconstruction
of T.H. 1 and T.H. 59 in the city of Thief River Falls until next
spring.
According to
Bernie Stinson, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, "items left to complete
on the project include the final wearing course, turf establishment
and pavement markings."
Stinson said
work will resume when road restrictions are lifted in the spring
of 2002. He estimates that the paving will take approximately 4
days to complete, 5 days for turf establishment and 4 days for pavement
markings.
Mn/DOT would
like to thank the public for their cooperation and patience during
this project and all construction projects around the state.
