Bemidji,
Minn— The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
the public that it is suspending it's work connected with the bridge
replacement on T.H. 310 north of Roseau until next spring.
According to
J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT's Resident Engineer for Construction in the
Thief River Falls office, "replacing the bridge is complete, however,
paving of the highway at both ends of the bridge will not be done
until next spring." Anderson added, "highway 310 has a gravel surface
which extends approximately 400 feet on each end of the bridge and
the area is signed warning drivers that the pavement ends and there
is loose gravel."
Anderson said
work would resume as soon as spring road restrictions are lifted
and weather conditions permit next spring. It is anticipated that
once work resumes, it will only take a few days to complete.
