Bemidji,
Minn— Work to repair the 15th Street Bridge (C.S.A.H. 6) began on
Tuesday, September 5th, 2001. Traffic on 15th Street is currently
restricted to narrow lanes over the bridge with an advisory speed
limit of 25 MPH. Beginning 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, T.H.
2 west bound traffic will be detoured to C.S.A.H. (5th Street),
west to C.S.A.H. 11, and north to T.H. 2. This detour will be in
effect until the afternoon of Thursday, September 13th.
15th Street
will be restricted to one lane with a flag person cooperation occasionally
during the week. On Thursday, September 13th, there will be an approximately
one hour period around 1:00 p.m. where 15th Street will be closed
to traffic while the new beam for the bridge is unloaded and set
in place.
Motorists are
advised to use CAUTION when traveling through this work zone.
