Bemidji,
Minn— If you're planning a trip that includes traveling on T.H.
310 north of Roseau, the Minnesota Department of Transportation
is advising you to find an alternative route.
According to
J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT Resident Engineer in the Thief River Falls
office, "Mn/DOT is replacing a bridge on trunk highway 310 and due
to heavy amounts of rain in the area, a temporary bypass that was
constructed is now flooded." Anderson added, "the bypass was closed
this afternoon and will not be re-opened until the water recedes
to a safer level." Anderson anticipates that the project could be
delayed even longer due to water run- offs from surrounding areas.
Mn/DOT would
like to thank the public for their patience as efforts continue
around the state to improve and maintain the state highway transportation
system.
