Bemidji, Minn—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising the public that reconstruction of Trunk Highway 200 in Halstad in Norman County is expected to begin on Monday, May 21^st.

The project, which is referred to as an urban reconstruction, consists of grading, concrete and bituminous pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and street lights.

J.T. Anderson, Mn/DOT Resident Engineer in Construction, said the project, which is expected to be completed in mid-September, will require a detour. The official detour route will direct traffic unto County Highway 5.
