Bemidji,
Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT)
is advising the
public it will begin reconstruction on Monday, May 21st,
of that portion of T.H. 200 from the junction at Zerkel
to the Clearwater County Park.
The
regrading and resurfacing project will require a 20-mile
detour to be in place. The official detour route directs
traffic from T.H. 200 at Lake Itasca unto Clearwater County
Highway 2 north, west on Clearwater County Highway 36 to
T.H. 92. Motorists traveling from the west would take this
same route in the opposite direction.
Mn/DOT
anticipates the project to be completed by late October,
depending on weather conditions.
As
construction gets underway in Minnesota, Mn/DOT would like
to remind the public to plan ahead and allow yourself extra
time to get to your destination.
