Bemidji, Minn.—The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising the public it will begin reconstruction on Monday, May 21^st, of that portion of T.H. 200 from the junction at Zerkel to the Clearwater County Park.

The regrading and resurfacing project will require a 20-mile detour to be in place. The official detour route directs traffic from T.H. 200 at Lake Itasca unto Clearwater County Highway 2 north, west on Clearwater County Highway 36 to T.H. 92. Motorists traveling from the west would take this same route in the opposite direction.

Mn/DOT anticipates the project to be completed by late October, depending on weather conditions.

As construction gets underway in Minnesota, Mn/DOT would like to remind the public to plan ahead and allow yourself extra time to get to your destination.
