ALERTS MOTORISTS TO PAINT STRIPING CREWS ON TRUNK HIGHWAY 11 IN
ROSEAU COUNTY BEGINNING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH
Bemidji,
Mn. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) would
like to notify
the public that their highway paint striping crew will be painting
on T.H. 11 in Roseau county during the week of September 11th,
depending on weather conditions.
According
to Brad Knutson, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, the crew is scheduled
to paint Trunk Highway 11 between Greenbush and Roosevelt, including
the city of Warroad. Also
on their schedule is painting of T.H. 89 from T.H. 11 to the Canadian
border.
The
paint striping operation is slow moving and motorists are cautioned
to slow down when
approaching these vehicles. A truck with warning lights follows
the paint striping truck to alert drivers of the work ahead. As
the workers put out and remove orange cones, drivers should give
these workers plenty of room and pass slowly using extreme caution.
