Bemidji, Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising the public that it will be upgrading the railroad crossing on T.H. 92 (Main Avenue) in Bagley during the week of September 11 – 15^th.

Monty Eidem, Mn/DOT Traffic Engineer in Bemidji, said the work will consist of replacing the rubberized crossing surface with concrete panels. He added, "this is being done in order to create a smoother ride over the tracks."

To accommodate the work, MnDOT will have a detour in place around the work site. Motorists will be directed to use Water Plant Drive S.W. to Clearwater Avenue and unto 1^st Street. Traffic coming from the opposite direction will take the route vice versa.

Mn/DOT reminds motorists to, please slow down when you "See Orange," and obey all signing instructions through a construction zone.
