RAILROAD
CROSSING UPGRADE IN BAGLEY WILL REQUIRE DETOUR NEXT WEEK
Bemidji,
Mn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising
the
public that it will be upgrading the railroad crossing on T.H. 92
(Main Avenue) in Bagley during the week of September 11 – 15th.
Monty
Eidem, Mn/DOT Traffic Engineer in Bemidji, said the work will consist
of replacing the rubberized crossing surface with concrete panels.
He added, "this is being done in order to create a smoother
ride over the tracks."
To
accommodate the work, MnDOT will have a detour in place around the
work site. Motorists will be directed to use Water Plant Drive S.W.
to Clearwater Avenue and unto 1st Street. Traffic coming
from the opposite direction will take the route vice versa.
Mn/DOT
reminds motorists to, please slow down when you "See Orange,"
and obey all signing instructions through a construction zone.
See
ORANGE.
