Bemidji, Mn. --- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is notifying the public that they are planning to re-open the east bound lanes of T.H. 2 in the city of Fosston beginning Wednesday, September 6^th.

According to Larry Randall, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction as work continues and is not expected to be completed until mid-October. Randall added, "taking the detour off from the city streets will relieve traffic through town, however, motorists are cautioned that some side streets on the west end of the project from Larson street will remain closed for some time yet to accommodate on-going construction."

Mn/DOT is asking drivers to proceed with caution and obey all signing instructions when entering a work zone. Please remember, when you "See Orange", slow down, we’re in the work zone together.
