SCHEDULED TO REOPEN EASTBOUND LANES OF HIGHWAY 2 BETWEEN BAGLEY
AND WILTON NEXT WEEK
Bemidji,
Mn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) has
scheduled the tentative re-opening of the eastbound traffic lanes
on T.H. 2 between Bagley and Wilton for next Wednesday, July 12th.
This
project has been underway since last summer and is expected to
be fully completed by the end of July according to Duane Hill,
Mn/DOT Project Engineer.
Hill said, “we are very near completion of this project except
for the replacement of a box culvert in the westbound lanes about
one mile east of Shevlin.” Hill cautioned that during this portion
of the work, west bound traffic will be moved over to the east
bound lanes for approximately one-half mile and motorists are
advised that the speed limit in this area will be 40 miles per
hour at the cross-over and 55 miles per hour through the work
zone.
Mn/DOT would like to thank the public for their patience and compliance
during the duration of this project and to please remember, when
you “See Orange, we’re in the work zone together.”
