MN/DOT ALERTS DRIVERS TO WATCH FOR PAINT STRIPING CREWS IN THE NORTHWEST DISTRICTBemidji, Mn. C The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) would like to notify the public that their highway paint striping crews will be in various locations of the Northwest District during the weeks of June 5th and June 12th. The tentative schedule includes T.H. 92 south of Bagley, East Grand Forks area, portions of T.H. 32 in the Thief River Falls and Red Lake Falls areas, T.H. 220 north of Alvarado, Roseau and areas including and around Bemidji. The paint striping operation is slow moving and motorists are cautioned to slow down when approaching these vehicles. A truck with warning lights follows the paint striping truck and crews are constantly setting out and removing orange safety cones. Drivers should give these workers plenty of room and pass with extreme caution. Mn/DOT would also like to advise the public that these schedules are contingent upon the weather and are adjusted as needed. See ORANGE. We’re in the WORK ZONE Together |
