MN/DOT CAUTIONS MOTORISTS OF CONSTRUCTION AND DETOUR ON T.H. 6 NORTH OF DEER RIVER
Bemidji, Mn. B The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) is advising motorists that a portion of T.H. 6 north of Deer River to Talmoon is currently under construction and will be through the end of September. According to Roger Bachmann, Mn/DOT Project Supervisor, the work will require a detour to be in place for the duration of the project. The official detour will extend from T.H. 6 east on County Road 19, north on County Road 48 to T.H. 38, north to Bigfork and then west on County Road 14. For traffic coming from the north, the detour would be vice versa. Bachmann added, Aexception to this detour will be given to residents, resort guests and other businesses in the area who will have access through the construction zone.@ Mn/DOT would like to caution motorists to slow down when you Asee orange@ and obey all signing instructions when entering any construction zone.
