CONSTRUCTION WORK ON T.H. 2 FROM BAGLEY TO WILTON HAS RESUMED FOR THE SUMMER, MOTORISTS CAUTIONED ABOUT LANE CLOSURES
Bemidji, MN. ---- The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) would like to notify motorists that construction on T.H. 2 between Bagley and Wilton has resumed on the westbound lanes between Bagley and Wilton in northern Minnesota.
Mn/DOT Project Engineer Duane Hill cautions, "all eastbound traffic will be merged unto a westbound lane with speed reductions that will be enforced until the project is complete."
Hill added, Mn/DOT expects to have this project completed by mid-August of this summer, depending on weather conditions.
Mn/DOT would also like to remind drivers that anyone caught speeding through a construction zone will be fined double under Minnesota law, so please remember that when you "see orange", slow down and obey all traffic signing instructions.
