I-35 restricted to three lanes:
One is southbound and two in northbound direction Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
One is northbound and two in southbound direction Sundays and Mondays

July 2018 – October 2018 or June 2019 – October 2019
County Road 7 Bridge closed in Pine City, ramp detours

About this project

Summary of work

  • Construct four new bridges at the Snake River, Hwy 70 and County Road 7
  • Seven miles of resurfacing using unbonded concrete overlay

I-35 Snake River Construction Schedule
April 2018 – October 2018
First stage: Construct the Hwy 70 overpass.
Second stage: Construct seven miles of northbound I-35 pavement and the northbound I-35 Snake River Bridge.
Third stage: Construct seven miles of southbound I-35 pavement.

June 2019 – October 2019
First stage: Construct the southbound I-35 Snake River Bridge.
Second stage: Construct the County Road 7 overpass (this may be constructed in 2018 after completion of the Hwy 70 overpass).
