Project schedule/traffic impacts

Permanent signal installation begins on Wednesday, December 12. All work will be completed by approximately January 11.

Traffic impacts

  • Flaggers will control traffic for short durations during the permanent signal installation.
  • Temporary signals “Flashing Red” will function as a stop sign for short durations.
  • Temporary stop signs will be used for short durations when the signal is energized.

Meetings

A public open house was held July 23, 2018 in Two Harbors at the Two Harbors Public Building, Law Enforcement Center. The meeting provided updated information for citizens and business owners about the upcoming “urban” phase of the project.

A public open house was held May 16, 2018 in Two Harbors at the Two Harbors Public Building, Law Enforcement Center. Proposed layouts were on display during the open house.

A public open house was held February 7, 2017 in Two Harbors. Approximately 50 people attended. Proposed layouts were on display during the open house.

A public open house was held Tuesday, March 7, 2016 at the Two Harbors Community Building, 417 South Avenue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Project layouts and other displays were available while staff answered questions and took comments.
