Hwy 1 Resurfacing project map
Construction will resume May 5. Motorists can expect single lane closures on Hwy 1 and Hwy 73 during construction hours. Beginning May 5, Hwy 1 in St. Louis County will be closed between County Rd 5 and County Rd 139, traffic will be detoured on Cty Rd 5, Cty Rd 114 and Cty Rd 139 for roadway repairs.
Weeks of June 14 and June 21
- Paving will be complete June 11.
- Shouldering of Hwy 1 and Hwy 73 will occur. Single lane closures with flaggers can be expected in the vicinity of the shouldering operation.
- Guard rail installation will occur on Hwy 1. Single lane closures and shoulder closures in the vicinity of the guard rail.
- Striping and rumble strip construction on Hwy 1, Hwy 73 and the Hwy 53/Hwy 1 intersection.
- Signage installation.
