2019 anticipated traffic impacts and remaining work

  • Single lane closures on the ramp from Mesaba Avenue to southbound I-35. Remaining work: Install structural steel strengthening members and both piers and apply the "Special Surface Finish" to the exposed concrete surfaces.
  • Single lane closures on both the northbound and southbound I-35. Remaining work: Paint the overhead steel on the Bong Ramp southbound I-35 to eastbound Highway 2 ramp.
  • Possible short-term single lane closures at Mesaba Avenue/Central Entrance. Remaining work: Paint the pavement markings and establish turf.
