About this project

The new Tettegouche State Park Visitor Center will include several gathering spaces to relax in and enjoy, including a Great Room with a fireplace overlooking Lake Superior. Also included are a 750-square-foot exhibit space to help visitors explore the park’s resources, a multi-purpose room, a gift shop stocked with educational resources and souvenirs, an amphitheater for interpretive programs, a lakeside patio, a picnic shelter, improved and expanded rest room facilities open 24 hours-a-day when the project is completed.
