Traffic impacts

Current traffic impacts

  • Daytime lane closures and shoulder closures on Hwy 73.
  • A temporary traffic signal system is in place through mid-September at the intersection of County Hwy 61 and Hwy 73.
  • Hwy 27/73 from Arrowhead Drive to Kenwood Drive is in a head-to-head traffic configuration with 10-foot lanes, no wide-loads allowed.
  • Hwy 73 from I-35 to the Moose Horn River will be milled and paved and traffic will be controlled by flaggers during this operation.
  • Hwy 73 from the Moose Horn River to County Hwy 61 is in a head-to-head traffic configuration with construction on the west side of the road. Storm sewer and concrete curb and gutter will be installed along with new bituminous pavement.
  • Staged construction is continuing at Hwy 73 and County Hwy 10. During construction of the new roundabout, traffic is being moved to various locations as stages are completed.
  • Motorists are urged to pay close attention to changing construction activities on the project.
