Soil boring work on Highway 23 in southwest Duluth, New Duluth begins Oct. 29
Duluth, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 23 in southwest Duluth and New Duluth may encounter sidewalk, parking lane and driving lane closures Oct. 29 through the end of November. The closures are necessary while crews do soil borings for the design of upcoming projects to replace culverts at the U. S. Steel Creek and Gogebic Creek crossings.
Sidewalk and parking lane closure 12 p.m. Oct. 29 through 3 p.m. Nov. 1
On southbound Highway 23 between Becks Road and Crestline Road
Sidewalk and parking lane closure 12 p.m. Nov. 5 through 3 p.m. Nov. 8
On northbound Highway 23 between Becks Road and Crestline Road
Both lanes closed adjacent to the median 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 31
On southbound and northbound Highway 23 between Spring Street and Grand Avenue Place
