Emergency lane closure on Highway 46 over Interstate 35 in Sturgeon Lake

Duluth, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 46 over I-35 in Sturgeon Lake will encounter an emergency lane closure. Expect delays when exiting I-35 onto Highway 46.

The bridge over I-35 was struck and crews are assessing damages. Highway 46 has been reduced to one single lane that will service traffic flow in both directions over the bridge. Traffic will alternate through a temporary traffic signal. The closure will be in effect until further notice.
