Southbound I-35 closed in Duluth due to plugged drains, standing water on freeway
Motorists should take alternate routes
DULUTH, Minn. —MnDOT has closed the southbound I-35 exit ramp to Lake Avenue and 5th Avenue West due to standing water on the freeway exit ramp, caused by plugged freeway drains.
Southbound motorists traveling to downtown Duluth and Canal Park area should take alternate routes.
MnDOT maintenance crews are working to open the plugged drains.
The ramps will reopen as soon as possible after the water recedes.
