Hwy 37 to close for one week beginning Sept. 19 just east of Cherry
DULUTH, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close Highway 37 just east of Cherry for one week beginning Monday, Sept. 19. Motorists will be detoured.
The detour route will follow County Road 7 and County Road 16.
During the closure the CN Railroad crossing surface will be replaced.
This purpose of the project is to improve the ride over the CN Railroad crossing. Next summer MnDOT has plans to repave Highway 37 from just east of Highway 169 to Highway 53.
