Hwy 33 resurfacing, accessibility, safety improvement project begins July 11 in Cloquet

DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Hwy 33 in Cloquet will encounter daytime lane closures beginning Monday, July 11 as a resurfacing, accessibility and safety improvement gets underway.

The project will affect north and southbound traffic on Highway 33 from the north end of the St. Louis River / Railroad Street to just north of Stark Road.

Traffic will be restricted Mondays through Fridays at noon. All lanes will be open from noon Fridays until early Monday mornings.

The project is scheduled to be completed August 19.

Motorists are urged to drive with care through the construction work areas.
