Routine ramp inspection project scheduled May 9 in Duluth
Motorists should follow signed, alternative routes
DULUTH, Minn. — A routine ramp inspection will take place at the I-535/I-35 “Can of Worms” interchange Monday, May 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. requiring ramp and lane closures.
Signs will be posted to direct motorists to alternate routes.
The ramp from southbound Highway 53 to southbound Interstate 35 will close.
The ramp from southbound Highway 53 to I-535/Blatnik Bridge will be reduced to a single lane.
All ramps will be open for the morning and evening peak travel times.
Motorists are asked to be patient and drive carefully near the work zone areas.
Ramp and bridge inspections help ensure that the infrastructure is reliable and safe for freight movement and as transportation routes.
