Highway 61 traffic restrictions begin June 12 in Lake County
DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists will encounter single lane traffic controlled by flaggers on Highway 61 at the Crow Creek in Lake County beginning Thursday, June 12, as crews begin a bridge painting project on the Crow River bridge. These traffic restrictions will remain in effect until mid-July.
The single lane traffic restrictions will be in place Mondays through Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The single lane is only wide enough for loads 15 feet wide or less.
The completed project will extend the life of the bridges and improve safety and freight movement.
