Hwy 210 public information meeting scheduled June 4

Forbay Lake area flood-damage repair information and schedules will be discussed

DULUTH, Minn. – The public is invited to learn more about the Hwy construction work needed to repair damage to Hwy 210 in the Forbay Lake area located between the Jay Cooke State Park headquarters building and the intersection of Jay Cooke Road at a public meeting Tuesday, June 4.

Time:                6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location:          Carlton County Transportation Building, 1630 County Road 61, Carlton, MN  55718

Representatives from Minnesota Power Company will also be at the meeting to provide an update on the work necessary to bring their hydro facilities back on-line, including repair plans for to the earthen embankment at the Forbay reservoir near Thomson.

Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Minnesota Power will be available to answer questions and discuss public concerns.
